The Egyptian Tax Authority demanded today through its pages on social networking sites, called on individuals who are engaged in content creation activities (bloggers - YouTubers) to:


Head to the tax office to open tax files at their local taxation authority to record their income.


It also amends bloggers, youtubers & influencers whose revenue “not profit “ is exceeds 500,000.


The authority also demanded individuals and companies that use social media platforms to sell their products & services to have their companies registered at the authority's offices and to provide the VAT in accordance with the law since the start of their activity.
